A Simple Tag

As I didn't want a clean crisp background I used paint applied with a brayer and paint sponged threw a stencil to give the effect below.
The stamp is by the wonderful Kate Crane.
The die cuts I added were from Sizzix and Tattered Lace, I finished it off using various fibres, ribbons and beads.

Ministry of Magic

Ok so not strictly Ministry of Magic but it does feel that way when you attend these wonderful weekend retreats.
I have attended 3 of these so far, the latest being last month in Coventry. This time we had the lovely Kate Crane and France Pappillon as teachers.
The two photos below show a project previously made with Andy Skinner and then the project with France last month.
If you haven't experienced one of these weekends I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are run with Tando Creative and details and booking can be made HERE

Kate's Angel

I bought this fab Stampotique stamp by Kate Crane.
I decided to use it to make a congratulations tag and turned the body and legs into a champagne flute. I used Fresco paint and various stamps for the tag background and added a thin black line around the outside to finish it off.
