Seahorse Dreaming

Now those of you who know me know how cards are not my 'thing', however, lately I have been making quite a few! I made the one above by first playing with sea coloured Brushos. You never know what effect you are going to get with Brushos so a couple of hours playing usually results in lots of pages to keep aside for when needed.
I used a stencil from Retro Cafe Art and DecoArt Crackle Paste to create the seahorse. Once it was dry I cut out it out (a bit tricky as I didn't want the crackle to fall off!) and then I painted it with Silks. I attached it to the card using sticky pads, added a black line around the edge of the card and added 'Happy Birthday' to finish it off.

Queen of the Roses

I used Brushos to create the background on this tag. I love the unpredictability of Brushos.
I used alcohol inks to colour the rose.
To finish off I used wings, a crown, a nib and beads.
