Steam Punked Journal

This is the first page of Dylusions journal. The background I made using a Gelli Plate and then I zendoodled falling strands to add a bit more interest.
The female image is from a Steam Punk colouring book I found on Amazon (warning these adult colouring books are very contagious!) My colouring skills unfortunately leave a lot to be desired but I used Copics in my attempt to make a good job!
I added Kaiser Craft rub ons for the woman to 'sit on' and added a flower at the corner.

Art Journal Page

This is a double page in my art journal. I used the pages I had made on an Andy Skinner Gelli Plate workshop for the background pieces and added quotes from artists that I had collected. I enjoyed pulling all different bits together to make a united piece of work and decided that a journal was a good way to keep all the bits in one place as I am very good at filing things in 'safe places' and then not remembering where I put them!

May Challenge - The Craft Garden

Full challenge details can be found Here

This is a page from my art journal. I made the background using a Gelli Plate and DecoArt paints. I used Zentangle patterns to create the falling strands and the wording are rub-ons from Kaisercraft. I added a border of a reptile skin affect tape by 7 Gypsies and a flower to finish the page.

Be Your Own Kind of Wonderful

I used masks and a Gelli Plate to create the background to this layout. The Gelli Plate is great for mixing colours and creating a layered effect. I added ribbon and flowers (also made with paper coloured using the Gelli Plate) to finish off.
