Life & Meet Me On Monday

I've had a difficult few days, my depression taking hold and I have just not had the strength to push it away, so I was simply over the moon when Ken woke me on Saturday asking what I wanted for breakfast saying that whatever it was it should be small because we were having lunch with Tom in Oxford. Bless Ken, he had contacted Tom and asked if he was free as a visit would boost my spirits. Luckily Tom was free and we had a lovely lunch and visit. We are both so proud of him, can't wait to hear him say "This is your Captain speaking......

Sadly the will be no more Meet Me On Monday, Wordless Wednesday or Follow Friday 40 & Over for a while as Java is taking a break to concentrate on her family and new job, I wish her all the best.

  1. Hope your feeling better. Glad you were able to get out.

I am really upset about Java. What am I going to post about on Mondays?

  2. Sorry you have been depressed. I know what that's like. Not very nice at all. I was just getting into Meet Me On Monday. Will have to look for something else. :-) Warm hugs!

  3. Hoping today is not a blue day.

I shall miss Java's memes too. Some weeks I do not post my own but visit others.

I missed last weeks so have posted that on my blog today.

  5. Hope today is brighter for you. I will miss Java's memes but I know she needs to take care of herself. Starting a new job can be challenging and so stressful.
    Have a great day,
    Shawn

  7. Oh, Sweetie....a lot of us have been there, and it is NOT easy, but our love for our family and friends somehow gets us up in the mornings. So glad you got to be with your boy....aren't "Kens" wonderful? Wouldn't swap mine. :D
