Surviving a Teacher's Salary

Lets face it being a teacher (or wife of one) and survivng on a teachers salary needs an award all by itself, however you will not find Crystal complain instead she fills her blog with lots of great ideas and super information and lovely photos of her family. I love dipping into her life, reading her product reviews and recipes.

Never Growing Old

Now where do I begin with Java? She has a fantastic blog with all the usual family ramblings but she also hosts 3 great weekly blog hops. It is through these that I have meet so many wonderful people. Java also has beauty tips, recipes and is fantastic at making blog buttons (see my beautiful butterfly button on my side bar)

Another card

White card is stamped with a floral stamp in green, backing paper is then mounted on top and fixed using Glossy Accents and a brad. The bird cage is coloured using distress ink pads (darker at the sides, top and bottom to help give depth). The bird is also coloured using distress ink pads and the beak finished using Smooch. Finally Adage Tickets inked and added.

Tag Challenge 2011

OK so my Tag Challenge 2011 has begun. I enjoyed so much making Christmas tags with Tim Holtz that I have decided to have a year long challenge where I invite you to submit a themed tag once a month to my blog. There will be a crafty prize for one entrant each month.This months prize is the Sizzlits Die Set pictured below.

The rules are as follows:

1. Make a tag to fit with the monthly theme, the ideas need to be your own.

2. Add your tag via the linky below.

3. Put a photo of your tag on your blog and link it back to my blog (I need to be able to contact you if you are a winner so please ensure you are linked up)

4. Enjoy and have fun, any materials/suppliers can be used and your tag can be any size or shape so long as it is a tag.
