27th August Scrap Thursday Part 13

This is the thirteenth scrapbook page for my new weekly post Scrap Thursday. I will try and bring new ideas and techniques and revisit old favourites too. If you have any suggestions or requests just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate these.  

I usually work in a 12" x 12" format as this allows me more space to experiment and get arty!

This trio belong to my best friend! It's not often they all get together so when they do the camera is quick to come out!

I used a Ken Oliver 12 x 12 as a base card, I used the muted side.

I used DecoArt Media Range Misters through masks.

I then added the misters to Grunge Paste.

I used the Grunge paste through several masks including 'Old Film' by Andy Skinner.

Using a craft knife I followed the curve of the stenciled oval to allow the corner of the photograph to slip underneath it.

I love the finished result, I am going to put this in a frame as a gift for my fabulous true friend Mary.
