Time for Tea?

This fabulous kit came from Retro Cafe Art
It comes naked ready for you to decorate.
I used various materials including pages from old books.
The cup was covered using Graphic 45 paper.
The radio image is from Mischief Circus aka Deviant Scrap.
I added Idea-ology bits and and pieces.
I used an image from Deviant Scrap (a sofa) for the purple tunic and  velvet paper for the body and arm for the jacket. The face was also from Deviant Scrap.
The arms are put together using brads (supplied) and arms can be fixed or left to move.
 Wings were added.
The finishing touches were a crown, tiny cogs (from watches), a clock face and Chinese coin 'hanging' from Washi tape.
I love the overall finish and although there is a stand with this kit I used a clear thread and have him hanging.

  1. Hello Rumtruffle, "What a cute name" . . . and what marvelous paper crafts you create. I love this, it is inspiring me to get back to paper crafting. I used to make cards all the time, then slowed way down. You have put a bee back in my bonnet, thank you. I am your newest follower and I would love, love, love to have you follow me back. Come visit and see what I did with washi tape:)
