Hop on over and see Julia to see what other crafters have been up to this week, dont forget to check out her other blog http://www.forsakenstash.blogspot.com/ which sells unwanted craft goodies, I received some amazing things this week from her, it really is worth a visit.
Last week I reported that I was kicking Mr Rum out of his office, well not much progress has been made apart from me making even more of a mess than last week! Apparently on Friday he is taking the day off work to sort the paperwork out so that we can start moving things around!! Im trying not to get too excited as Ive heard this 'tidying up' story before! I am doing my best howeve,r to make it look like I need a whole room to myself hence the photograph below (thought if I could use every available space he might get a move on!)
PS Kerry at The Craft Garden is looking for new design team members if anyone is interested, the closing date is the 16th October but if you want to send in an entry but cant meet the deadline just email her and let her know you need a bit more time.
This is a lovely blog hop also on a Wednesday where you can share your favourite photograph of the week. I am sharing a photo of Louie this week who was not looking very happy when I saw him yesterday afternoon (he had just been to the vets to be er snipped!)
Good plan, however I can't see a photo. I believe you though (at least you have one)
ReplyDeletePlease do not mention tidying up and men in the one paragraph. Just had a "tidy up" in the garage with the "man" and the times I lifted my eyes up to heaven - well, I lost count. Good Luck! Thanks for sharing those thoughts and the photo - Hugs and sympathy, Neet #8
ReplyDeleteI agree with Neet not in same sentence not good idea at all.Infact do they know that word...lol
ReplyDeleteHoping that it all goes to plan on friday till then use every space possible!
hugs judex 28
Man does not equal tidying in LLJ world!! My DH is incapable of parting with any junk and if I try and sneak some out behind his back, he can tell...spooky!! Hugs, LLJ xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek and sharing xoxo Marjo #40 or so..
ReplyDeleteOoooh good luck with your challenge. My dh has a fine line between being asked and being nagged - if I nag it doesn't happen at all. Also he can only cope with one thing at a time, so if I ask him to focus on one thing I have to accept that all other requirements (put gym kit straight in washing machine not in washing basket, tidy up after making your sandwiches etc) will go out the window - oh my poor smelly soggy wshing basket - sigh. Keeping fingers crossed for you for Friday :)
ReplyDeleteI can see you need more space..why do they not understand this... I hope he moves out on friday and then you can move in properly..lol
ReplyDeleteHi there. Just a quick peek around the door this week as time is definitely not on my side! I did want to visit though.
ReplyDeleteYou never will have enough space though, if you have a bigger room everything just grows!
Oh to dream of having a craft room all the myself instead of trays on my bed......I hope your dream comes true! Enjoy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteLOL - sounds like fun times ahead this week, eh? All that AND Peter Andre about to move into the area? Breathe.....breathe...... Love the flower ball by the way - sense a Christmas-stylee one coming on...
ReplyDeleteLovely busy bedroom there! thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou sure spread out your stuff, so I hope Mr Rum gets the hint!
ReplyDeleteSince I don't have a man to help or for me to clean up after, I do it all. I think you are probably lucky to get some help, but it may take some motivational training to get him there (grin). Happy WOYWW from # 11.
ReplyDeleteOh bless Louie - I thought he looked pretty with it...he must be in shock! Really, good luck with Friday...start as you mean to go on, set the alarm for normal time and don't let anything distract him!!!
ReplyDeleteNo desk from me as I decided to have a massive sort around of my stash hoard. Bad mistake as I've only done one box so far and that took all day!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with your Louie. He is so cute. Hugs Mrs A.
Nice space! I can see you can still use your bed. When I was single, my bed was so full of stuff I had to sleep in a bedroll!!! Patsy from

That room is priceless! It is crammed but you know, looks kind of organized at the same time. It's a riot, really. *smiles* Norma
ReplyDeletegood luck with the 'tidying' love the pooch, so cute!

Good luck in your quest for more space - I'm sure it's a scientific fact that women just need more space than men.
ReplyDeleteI love what you have created in the later post. Good luck with the tidy up... My DH cleaned up but, only to fit 3 more motor bikes in to his garage!
ReplyDeleteHe's so precious.....my daughter has a white dog similar to him but mixed. She has an awful time keeping his fur white especially around his eyes and feet.
ReplyDeleteI don't bother Honey Bear's office (its just where he deposits everything since he prefers to use the sofa as his office) until it becomes unbearable, which it is getting to that point now..I am planning to tackle it any day now.
Blessings,
Mama Bear
